Dr. David Canning is Richard Saltonstall Professor of Population Sciences and Professor of Economics and International Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Canning has served as a consultant to the World Health Organization, the World Bank, and the Asian Development Bank. His research focuses on Health to Wealth, the idea that health is a fundemental driver of economic growth, and the demographic dividind, that changes in age structure are key drives of individual behavior and economic activity.
