Ed Balls is a Senior Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School and a Visiting Professor at Kings College, London. He was Chief Economic Adviser to HM Treasury 1999-2004, Secretary of State for Education 2007-2010 and Shadow Chancellor 2011-2015. He has studied economics at Oxford (BA) and Harvard (MPA) and has published a wide range of books, research papers, speeches and pamphlets.
