Florian Misch

Senior Economist at European Stability Mechanism

Florian Misch is a Senior Economist at the ESM where his tasks include reviewing country documents and conducting analysis and research on topics such as public risk sharing in the euro area. Prior to joining the ESM, Florian worked in the European and Fiscal Affairs Departments of the International Monetary Fund, as a freelance consultant for organisations such as the New Zealand Treasury, the World Bank, and as a researcher at the Centre for European Economic Research. His research typically focuses on topical macroeconomic and fiscal policy issues. Florian holds a PhD in economics from the University of Nottingham.
