Harald Scheule

Harald Scheule is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Finance at the University of Melbourne. He is an expert in the analysis and forecasting of default and recovery risk. He completed his PhD at the University of Regensburg, Germany on ‘Forecasting Credit Portfolio Risk’ in collaboration with the German central bank and has published numerous articles. Harald has consulted banks, insurance and reinsurance companies in Australia, Europe and North America.
