Marius A Zoican

Assistant Professor in Financial Economics at Dauphine university, CNRS

Marius A. Zoican is Assistant Professor in Financial Economics at Université Paris-Dauphine in France. He obtained a PhD in Finance from VU University Amsterdam and the Tinbergen Institute in 2015. Between March and June 2014, Marius was a Visiting Scholar at Toulouse School of Economics. Marius' research interests span financial intermediation, banking, market microstructure, and contract theory. Marius received the "Outstanding Paper in Investments" award at the Eastern Finance Association conference in 2014 and the runner-up "Best Paper Award" at the ERIC Doctoral Consortium in Stuttgart in 2013. He is a recipient of the C. Willems grant (2014) and the Huygens scholarship (2012). In 2014, Marius was nominated by the Dutch Royal Academy of Sciences to participate in the 5th Lindau Nobel Prize Meeting in Economics.
