Marlene Madsen

Marlene Rosemarie Madsen is a member of the Chief Economist unit at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Trade, where she is in charge of analytical oversight of overall trade policy priorities and strategies, trade and globalisation, European external competitiveness, trade and environmental goods and the DDA. Before joining the Commission Marlene worked as an Economic Adviser for the British government, in the International Trade and Development team in the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills, and prior to that she worked as an Economist in the Danish government.
