Michael Moore

Michael Moore is Professor of Economics and International Affairs at the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and the Department of Economics. He has published extensively on international economics issues, with particular focus on U.S. trade policy, antidumping, and the WTO. Professor Moore has also written recent articles on developing country trade liberalisation, determinants of multinational corporation investment patterns, the U.S.-UAE economic relationship, and the intersection between climate change policies and international trade commitments. Professor Moore was the founding Director of both the Elliott School’s Institute for International Economic Policy and International Trade and Investment Policy Program. He also has served as the Elliott School’s Associate Dean. Professor Moore was Senior Economist for International Trade at the White House Council of Economic Advisers in 2002-2003. Professor Moore received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
