Michael Streatfield

DPhil Student, Financial Economics, Saïd Business School at University Of Oxford

Michael Streatfield is currently undertaking a DPhil in Financial Economics at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Prior to commencing his doctorate, he worked in the investment industry for 15 years in London and South Africa. He has been active in developing the investment industry, as a board member of CFA South Africa, and, in founding ASISA the united investment trade association for South Africa. He has a student scholarship at the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance, is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. Michael’s main research interests are asset management and hedge funds. He has published in the British Actuarial Journal.
