Nicholas Dorn is Professor of International Safety and Governance at the Erasmus School of Law. With a background as a sociologist/criminologist, his overarching objective is to place questions about regulation for systemic stability of financial markets alongside questions about governance for environmental sustainability and governance of international security. At Erasmus he teaches an interdisciplinary masters option on 'Global Governance, Safety and Security'. Funded research studies/consultancies during 2008-9 addressed conceptions of harm of crime; regulatory priority-making; and corporate security.
