Noboru Kawahama

Noboru Kawahama is a Faculty Fellow at RIETI and a Professor at the Graduate School of Law, Kyoto University. His expertise is in antitrust law and competition policy. At RIETI, he is the Project Leader in the Globalization, Innovation, and Competition Policy Program, which is examining the way competition policy ought to be in an environment where globalisation and innovation play an increasingly important role via a comprehensive recourse to findings in jurisprudence, economics, and government administration, while taking into account relevant developments in other countries. He has co-edited books and published papers in leading journals. He obtained his Master of Law from the Graduate School of Law, Kyoto University in 1983.
