Shahin Vallee

Shahin Vallee is a PhD candidate at the LSE European Institute. His interest is essentially focused on international macroeconomics but he is also particularly interested in the all research areas at the intersection of financial markets and public policy. In particular, at Bruegel he worked on the international monetary system, European economic governance and monetary and macroprudential policy. He holds a Masters from Columbia University in New York, he also holds a Public Affairs Degree from Sciences Po in Paris and an undergraduate economics degree from La Sorbonne. From July 2012, Shahin has been appointed to the Cabinet of President Van Rompuy as an Economic Adviser, he subsequently served as Emmanuel Macron’s Economic advisor when he was Economy minister.
