Thomas Mroz, the Bernard B. and Eugenia A. Ramsey Chair of Private Enterprise at Georgia State University, is a Professor of Economics in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics with a minor in Statistics from Stanford University. He studies health and labour economics. His research focuses on the estimation of behavioral responses of individuals to changes in their social and economic environments. He has been a faculty member in the economics departments at the University of Chicago, the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and Clemson University.
