Mustafa Kaba is a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn. He received his PhD in Economics from the European University Institute. He is an applied microeconomicst specializing in political economy and behavioral economics. More specifically, he focuses on understanding how beliefs, incentives, and institutional structures shape economic behavior and outcomes in policy-relevant settings using applied microeconometrics, field experiments, and large-scale representative survey experiments. He also works as a consultant for the World Bank and occasionally teaches econometrics at the Cologne Graduate School in Management, Economics and Social Sciences.
