Anna Nicińska

Anna Nicińska is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw. She studies processes of individual ageing from a behavioural and institutional economics perspective. Her research examines the formation of preferences and habits, health and functional status in later life, intergenerational money transfers transmitted during life and after death, and help received from relatives and unrelated persons. She is currently researching the impact of communism on attitudes and behaviour in later life and urban ageing.
