Ana Abeliansky is an Assistant Professor in Economics (especially macroeconomics and digitalization) at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She received her Doctoral Degree in Economics at the University of Goettingen in Germany. Her research interests lie in the areas of health economics and aging, technology and its effects on the economy and society, and in the intersection between international and development economics. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, such as Demography, the Journal of Population Economics, Economics & Human Biology, and the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization.
