Pedro Mazeda Gil

Associate Professor of Macroeconomics and Economic Growth at University of Porto

Pedro Mazeda Gil is Associate Professor of Macroeconomics and Economic Growth at the School of Economics and Management, University of Porto, and also Deputy Director of the Research Center CEF.UP and Senior Adviser at the central government agency PlanAPP - Competence Center for Planning, Policy and Foresight. His research mainly concerns, on the one hand, the interrelation between economic growth, innovation, automation, and labour market outcomes and, on the other, the interplay between firm dynamics, economic growth, and monetary policy. He has published in journals such as Economics Letters, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Labour Economics, Macroeconomic Dynamics, and Oxford Economic Papers. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Porto.
